A special NJ Pack was held on 25 June.  Freshmen and Senior students of teacher Brendan O’Neill at Bergenfield (NJ) High School collected over three skids of healthy snacks, candy, gum, beef jerky, slim jims, soup and scores of boxes of personal care items for our NJ ARNG currently deployed overseas.

Brendan’s students do this every year but this year was particularly successful.  And we agreed that all the goodies should go to the NJ ARNG who are deployed throughout Africa and the Middle East.  Thanks to our usual “Regulars” and some new volunteers as well, the pack built over 50 boxes.

Included with the goodies in every box were notes from the high school kids and also from Bergenfield children, a small flag and patch from AASP.  We’re confident our citizen soldiers will enjoy receiving these great boxes from the kids at BHS!
