On May 21, volunteers gathered at the Unilever warehouse by 9am and prepared over 200 cartons to be sent to our Adoptee units overseas. We called it a “fun pack” because it consisted of really neat plastic tumblers from our Benefactors at Just Born Confections in Bethlehem, PA. Also included were: Just Born Easter Peeps chicks, eggs and bunnies; Nature’s Valley fig bars; Pascal coffee flavored KCups; and beef jerky from Inserra Shop-Rite Supermarkets of northern NJ.

By the afternoon, all the boxes were finished and three skids (81 boxes) were trucked to the local post office and put on the loading dock! By Thursday the last of the 9 skids had been delivered to the Post Office – 220 boxes were on their way to our Troops!!!
