Just had the privilege of opening your CARE PAX…AWESOME – THNX!!! We are US NAVY SEABEES stationed at Camp Lemonnier – Djibouti, Africa. Our mission here is simple – to protect and defend the national security interests of the United States from violent extremist organizations and other potential threats in East Africa and to create a secure environment that promotes stability, good governance, and continued development. Currently we are tasked with base construction, expanding our camp to accommodate Troops well into the next few decades. Conditions here are moderate; temperatures here range from 110-120f’ with sandstorms daily. We are proud to serve our Nation, especially knowing that people appreciate our efforts and the sacrifices we (including our families) make on a daily basis. Keep up the work – God Bless America!!!
