Mr. Lobaido and the Adopt a Soldier Platoon team,
On behalf of my Commander, (name redacted) and all the Paratroopers of (unit redacted) , we are extremely grateful to receive your care packages and I must say to see the troopers open up a little piece of home and the joy it brings is a significant emotional event .   Paratroopers of (redacted) are spread across Afghanistan.  I look forward to forwarding these packages out to our more austere locations and receiving more pictures to send back home to you.  Attached is one of our HQ sections in (location redacted). I am truly humbled and grateful that people still exist who have not forgotten these young sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters that continue to give their all for our Country.  We are truly blessed to have you and extremely appreciative of your generosity.  I will also like to include you on our monthly family newsletter if that is okay, we plan to send our first edition the first week of august.  Until my next report , thank you for all that do and may God bless you all with good health and good fortune.   Jonathan , 1SG,  USA
