Thank you for the care packages…. We have received a gracious amount. I
think we are good for the remainder of the deployment. Thank you again for the
support and Merry Christmas. William

“A special thank you to you and your team.
We received 3 Christmas care packages that were amazing.
The Peeps and smores makings couldn’t have been timed better as we’re planning a bonfire on Christmas Eve.
You guys have been great and we truly appreciate all your support.
I wish you and your family as well as all of the tremendous volunteers and their families a very Merry Christmas. Thank you.” Matthew

HO-LE-SMOKES, over the past three days of “okay” weather and after we got a ton of gear and folks moved….and a TON of mail came in. Mixed in there, were over 30 boxes from our NJ Rear-D! My numbers are a tinge off since I had to get a little help moving things along as I had to be “out of pocket” for a bit. I will say that the folks on the front line(s) all received plenty (PLENTY) of love. I am not sure what was appreciated more but I received handshakes, smiles, and at least two calls about the TRX systems, FIG BARS, TUNA, and BODY ARMOR. And, you good people sent enough that even the rear-echelon folks (like me now, dammit) received some delicious chocolate, coffee mugs, COFFEE, *cigars…blissful* and a ton of awesomeness from (redacted name of Benefactor).
The other day as I was making my rounds off the camp here, I saw a few Marines using a TRX system hooked to a MATV..one was hammering down some beef jerky sticks between sets. Made me smile. There are emails of gratitude inbound, if not received already. Between our Operations Sergeant (name redacted), and our Current Operations Officer (name redacted) the donors’ addresses were disseminated with request that folks take a minute when they have connectivity to send a short note.
Thanks again for all that you do! Stu.

Merry Christmas and a HUGE THANK YOU from me and the entire team here. The package you sent is beyond amazing. There are more than enough goodies for everyone in the office. It is truly wonderful and humbling to see the continued outpouring of support for folks deployed and away from home around the holidays. Thank you again from me and the team here for this awesome bit of home for the holidays. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year! Thank You!! Vinny
DHL 2018 Live Xmas Trees for Our Troops
Early December 2018 — It started at Dee’s Nursery in Oceanside, NY. Over 500 live Xmas trees were brought down from the Dee’s tree farm in Maine to their Nursery, where children from local schools, Veterans, Police officers, local Troop organizations and employees from DHL Express gathered to give them a great send-off to DHL’s […]
Xmas 2018 Pack makes over 350 Boxes
On November 14, 2018, AaSP packed over 350 boxes for our Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airmen. The Unilever Veterans Business Resource Group, Menasha Corporation, some MPs from the Teaneck, NJ, Armory, and Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon supporters made boxes and worked the assembly line. Volunteers staged goodies on tables, put letters and flyers into the boxes, worked […]

Holy crap, you all are busting your collective asses for us! Immense gratitude on behalf of the men and women within our Task Force. I will let you know when things start arriving, and I have to say that I am excited that the folks living in the dirt are definitely going to get a little something Christmas-y from the good ol’ USA. Nothing better than seeing an Operator smile huge with all the Copenhagen grains as he opens one of your boxes. BTW: guys like saving the cigars for victory or post-mission relaxation. Please let the crew know how much your efforts are appreciated. Stu
The new Flag is up! 12 Nov 2018
I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you for the tremendous honor that we had yesterday on Veteran’s Day.
(Our unit) was able to be present during the retiring of Old Glory and the dedication of the new flag here at the Craig Joint Theater Hospital. There was an official AF photographer there and your name was specifically mentioned during the ceremony.
That being said I would assume that they will forward you some pictures.
Know that what you are doing has such a positive impact on all of the Soldiers here.
We thank you for your continued support. Keep up the great work. Respectfully, Matt. 12 Nov 2018

I just want to shoot you a quick note. I have been meaning to do it for a while now. I just wanted to say thank you for your hard work putting these packages together. Your packages are what people want it’s not the same old bars of soap and foot powder (though when you need that stuff you do really need it). Me and the guys are now hooked on the Body Armor drinks and Fig bars. As soon as a box comes in they are gone immediately…lol. Of course they are consumed at a rate that is second only to the Oreos. In addition every now and again there are those cigars, they are a welcome treat. Please let all the vendors and those that work behind the scenes we really appreciate it and look forward to you boxes every time. Shawn.

From one of our Adoptees – and team of Bad Asses
I can’t begin to express how excited I was to receive your most recent shipment of care packages. We were able to distribute a taste of home to our Soldiers and significantly increase their morale. Though I can’t share details of our mission, I can say that some of our locations are quite austere and soldiers have very little in the way of personal comforts. Thank you for remembering us and for your sacrifice and service to our Service Members. V/r Adam 4 Oct 2018
